El Pan
Cierta vez un hombre habló a un gran sabio sobre su preocupación de que le quitaran el "pan nuestro de cada día".
Entonces el sabio dijo:
"¿Sabías que el horno para hacer el pan está en tu Corazón, así como la harina y demás ingredientes?"
...Pero el hombre seguía desesperado, esta vez pensando quién le robaría su horno y los ingredientes.
Entonces el sabio le dijo:
"El estado donde está tu horno e ingredientes, es uno donde solo tú puedes entrar, solo tú puedes hacer el pan."

Las ocho semillas
Sembré 8 semillas.
Ninguna de ellas a dado fruto distinto al que le corresponde.
La de mangó, dió mangó.
La de almendro, almendras.
La de guayaba, guayabas dió.
La de guanábana, sólo ha dado guanábanas.
La de naranja, cientos de naranjas.
La de parcha (maracuyá), no ha dejado de dar parchas.
La de aguacate (palta), sólo da aguacates.
La de jobos, sigue dando jobos.

El Sepulturero
Me encontré con este librito que estaba escondido en mi cuarto. Hacía algún tiempo que no lo leía. También me dí cuenta que en esta página están todos los demás cuentos del libro "El Loco", de Khalil Gibrán. Abajo está "El Sepulturero" que aparece en ese libro:
El sepulturero
"Una vez, mientras yo estaba enterrando a uno de mis egos, se acercó a mí el sepulturero, para decirme: “De todos los que vienen aquí a enterrar a sus egos muertos, sólo tú me eres simpático”.
Le repliqué: “Me halagas mucho; pero, ¿por qué te inspiro tanta simpatía?”
A lo que me contestó el sepulturero: “Porque todos llegan aquí llorando y se van llorando; sólo tú llegas riendo, y te marchas riendo, cada vez”."
